Sales of Fine Violins, Violas, Cellos and their bows:

Call or email to schedule an appointment when interesting in trying instruments or bows for purchase. It is best to have a price range in mind when thinking about purchasing so that we can best accommodated your needs. We welcome clients to try instruments in the shop. Instrument inventory range from fine antique European examples to 20th century American instruments and instruments individually crafted by Kevin Chapin as well as more modestly priced imported instruments.

Instrument Rentals:

We offer quality violin, viola and cello rentals to student and more advanced players. All sizes are available. Please call or email to set up an appointment for a rental and further information.

Repair/restoration

We have the ability to repair nearly any quality bowed stringed instrument. Clients may be provided with a work estimate before work is conducted on larger projects. Jobs range from maintaining professional’s instruments to rehabbing family heirlooms that have gone out of use for a generation to complete disassembly, repair and reassembly of antique fine instruments. Bow rehairing and general bow repairs are also commonly conducted.
